Bangkok: The treasurer of the Palang Pracharath Party declared that "goodness will always triumph over evil" after 21 MPs submitted documents requesting the Prime Minister to adjust the cabinet members according to party proportions, saying that "Pirapan" is still in good spirits.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Prakromsak Choonhavan, advisor to Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Pirapan Salirathavibhaga, who also serves as Minister of Energy and treasurer of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, spoke about the situation involving a letter signed by 21 MPs from the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party. The letter requested a reallocation of ministerial positions to reflect the party's proportional representation. Mr. Prakromsak mentioned that his meeting with Mr. Pirapan was focused on general work and nothing else.
When questioned about rumors regarding Mr. Pirapan possibly convening a meeting of the party's executive committee, Mr. Prakromsak stated that there were no such plans, and the party remains stable despite some internal voices. He emphasized that any decisions would ultimately depend on the party leader.
Mr. Prakromsak reassured that Mr. Pirapan's spirits remain high, stating, "Mr. Phiraphan's spirits are still good. Dharma always wins over injustice." Regarding support from party MPs for Mr. Pirapan, Mr. Prakromsak noted that while there are expressions of support on platforms like Facebook, he himself is not deeply involved in politics but rather focuses on overseeing Mr. Phiraphan's work related to policies and government duties.
