Bangkok: Investigators at Phetkasem Police Station have detained the wife of ‘Saihan’, the individual responsible for the recent shooting of a fitness center owner, and have sent her to the Immigration Bureau to delay her deportation. This action was taken as she is considered an important witness in the ongoing investigation.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Pong, the wife of Mr. Saihan, was escorted by Phetkasem Police investigators to the Immigration Bureau to request a delay in her deportation. Authorities are eager to question her as a key witness in the case where Mr. Saihan is alleged to have shot and killed a fitness owner.
While being taken into custody, Ms. Pong displayed an indifferent expression and quietly mentioned that Mr. Saihan had apologized to her during her detention. When questioned about the nature of their relationship and if Mr. Saihan had frequently abused or threatened her, Ms. Pong indicated that such incidents were not very frequent.
Regarding Mr. Saihan, investigators are working in coordination with lawyers and interpreters to facilitate the interrogation process. The decision to reenact the confession will depend on multiple factors, including the convenience and consent of the deceased’s family, as the crime reenactment would occur in the house, and also the willingness of the suspect to participate.
