Prime Minister Leads Ceremony to Honor Princess Bajrakitiyabha

Bangkok: The Prime Minister and his wife participated in a solemn ceremony to offer water to cleanse the royal remains before a portrait of Princess Bajrakitiyabha. The event took place at Sahathai Samakhom Hall in the Grand Palace, where they were joined by the Cabinet, armed forces commanders, Royal Thai Police, private sector executives, and representatives from various organizations.

According to Thai News Agency, the event was a significant gathering, with Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul taking the lead. Participants paid their respects to Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavadi, Krom Luang Rajasarinisiripatchara Mahavajrarajathida, as well as Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The ceremony was held in memory of the princesses' royal grace and contributions.

In addition to the ceremony, the Royal Palace invited the public to partake in the ritual of pouring water over the deceased's body earlier in the day. The procession of the body from Chulalongkorn Hospital to Phiman Rattaya Throne Hall in the Grand Palace was scheduled for later in the afternoon at 3:30 PM.
