Pro Jin-Prim Invites Fans to Support Thai Golfers at Honda LPGA Thailand 2026

Pattaya: "Pro Jin" Atthaya Thitikul, the world's top female golfer, is urging fans to support Thai golfers in the upcoming "Honda LPGA Thailand 2026" tournament via AIS PLAY. This prestigious women's golf event, offering a total prize of US$1.8 million, will take place from February 19-22 at the Siam Country Club Old Course in Pattaya, Chonburi. Through AIS PLAY, viewers can enjoy comprehensive coverage, with five hours of daily live streaming starting from the first hole of the leading group, enabling fans to follow all significant moments and cheer for both Thai and international golfers using smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs.

According to Thai News Agency, the 19th edition of the LPGA Tour's "Honda LPGA Thailand 2026" will feature 72 golfers competing in two final rounds with no cut, aiming for a prize pool of approximately 60 million baht. Leading the lineup are eight prominent Thai golfers, including "Pro Jin" Atthaya Thitikul, "Pro May" Ariya Jutanugarn, "Pro Mew" Pajaree Anannarukan, "Pro Praw" Chanettee Wannasan, "Pro Mo" Moriya Jutanugarn, "Pro Waen" Pornanong Phetlump, "April" Chanoknan Angkurasreni, and amateur Prim Prachnakorn. The tournament will also welcome international talents like defending champion Angel Yin from the United States, China's Yin Ruoning, and New Zealand's Lydia Ko.

"Pro Jin" Atthaya Thitikul expressed her admiration for the Honda LPGA, recalling her childhood memories of attending the event with her grandparents, which inspired her golf journey. She emphasized her commitment to practice diligently and inspire young players watching the tournament. Thitikul noted the special feeling of competing in front of home fans and the significance of potentially winning the championship in Thailand.

In addition, Prim Prachnakorn, the tournament's sole amateur participant, reflected on her learning experiences from the previous year and shared her excitement about competing against world-class golfers for the first time.
