Pro Jin Ties for Lead on Day 3 of Honda LPGA Thailand 2026

Pattaya: The third day of the Honda LPGA Thailand 2026 witnessed intense and closely contested matches as Thai golf enthusiasts rallied behind "Pro Jin" Atthaya Thitikul in her quest to make history. The tournament, offering a total prize of approximately 60 million baht, is taking place at the Siam Country Club Old Course in Chonburi province.

According to Thai News Agency, "Pro Jin," the world's number one female golfer, recently turned 23 and currently holds second place with a score of 14 under par. Playing in the final group, she added 2 under par after 7 holes, bringing her total to 16 under par and tying for the lead with South Korea's Lee So-mi, who is in the same group but had 1 birdie and 2 bogeys.

Other Thai female golfers also showcased their skills. "Pro April" Chanoknan Angkuraseni, after 15 holes, is tied for 12th place at 11 under par. "Pro Praw" Chanettee Wannasan, who co-led after the first day, is 14th after 12 holes at 10 under par. "Pro May" Ariya Jutanugarn, the 2021 champion, is tied for 28th place after 14 holes at 8 under par. "Pro Waen" Pornanong Phetlump is tied for 36th place after 14 holes at 6 under par, while "Pro Mew" Pajaree Anannarukan is tied for 43rd place after 14 holes at 5 under par.

Additionally, amateur golfer Prim Prachnakorn and "Pro Mo" Moriya Jutanugarn scored over par in the tournament. The afternoon play presents an opportunity for Thai female golfers, particularly Pro Jin, to potentially become the third Thai woman to win this tournament, following in the footsteps of "Pro May" Ariya Jutanugarn and "Pro Patty" Papangkorn Dhakathanakit, champions in 2021 and 2024, respectively.
