Bangkok: Groups of people and citizens gradually pay their respects to the royal remains. This morning, groups of people and members of the public used their holiday to travel to pay their respects to the royal urn of Her Majesty the Queen Mother.
According to Thai News Agency, on the seventh day, the Bureau of the Royal Household opened its doors for the public to pay their respects to the royal urn of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, at Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall in the Grand Palace. This morning, groups of people from various agencies and members of the public took advantage of their holiday to express their loyalty and gratitude for Her Majesty’s numerous royal duties, alleviating suffering and promoting happiness for the people.
The Bureau of the Royal Household requests that those paying their respects to the Royal Remains wear proper mourning attire, including collared shirts and closed-toe shoes. Pants or short skirts are not permitted. The Bureau advises those arriving at the waiting tents before 8:00 PM, as the screening point is open to the public until 8:30 PM.
