Bangkok: A 55-year-old security guard tragically lost his life after his motorcycle overturned and pinned him under water in a shellfish farm pond. The accident occurred as he was returning home after purchasing groceries.
According to Thai News Agency, the incident took place near Bang Khun Thian Chai Talay-Luk Wua Road, specifically at Soi Thian Talay 25, Moo 9, in the Tha Kham Subdistrict of Bang Khun Thian District, Bangkok. Local police, with the assistance of rescue workers, recovered a blue and black motorcycle from the water. The body of the deceased, Mr. Nukool, was found under the vehicle, with his right hand partially visible above the pond's surface.
The police investigation revealed that Mr. Nukool was a security guard and had been on his way home after buying food. He lost control of his motorcycle near the site of the accident. Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage to ascertain the exact cause of the mishap.
