Despite their efforts, the strength and offensive tactics of the United States team allowed them to gain an advantage, ultimately winning the set 25-21. This victory gave the USA a 1-0 lead.In the second set, Thailand briefly took the lead at 3-1. However, the USA quickly regained control through effective blocking and spiking, finishing the set with a 25-18 win and securing a 2-0 lead in sets.The third set saw Thailand start strong once more, leading 6-4, but the USA's adjustments and fast-paced attacks allowed them to build an 18-13 lead. Although the Thai team narrowed the gap to 18-21, they could not maintain their momentum and even tually lost the set 25-20.The match concluded with the USA securing a 3-0 victory over Thailand with set scores of 21-25, 18-25, and 20-25. This win marked the USA's first victory in Stage 3 of the tournament.Thailand's national team will next face Japan on Thursday, July 9th, 2026, at 5:20 PM Thailand time.
