Rangsit: Lieutenant Colonel Thanakrit Chittrareerat, spokesperson for the Kla Tham Party (KT), visited the Rangsit Municipality area in Prachatipat Subdistrict, Pathum Thani Province, to engage with residents about their pressing concerns. The dialogue focused on issues such as debt, livelihoods, living conditions, and challenges faced by the disabled and elderly populations.
According to Thai News Agency, Lieutenant Colonel Thanakrit, in his role as a party-list MP candidate, accompanied Mr. Chayut Sinpoonpak, candidate number 7 for Constituency 4, Pathum Thani, along with the Kla Tham Party's campaign team. Their informal discussions with community members allowed residents to openly express their concerns and aspirations. Many community representatives expressed their unexpected delight at meeting Mr. Thanakrit in person and voiced their readiness to support him and local parliamentary candidates in addressing their problems. They emphasized the need for improvements in the grassroots economy to aid local vendors in their businesses and encouraged him to deliver on his promises despite any negative perceptions of the party.
Lieutenant Colonel Thanakrit assured residents that he is committed to addressing these issues, focusing on economic hardships, social inequality, and educational challenges for children. He outlined Kla Tham Party's tailored policies for vulnerable groups, which include pensions for the elderly, support for people with disabilities, subsidies for children aged 0-6 years, and a 40,000 baht allowance for home repairs.
Following these discussions, Lieutenant Colonel Thanakrit and the candidate for Constituency 4 took their campaign to the streets, riding in a vehicle with a loudspeaker to greet residents in various communities, including Thai Tei Yin, Saphan Fa, Saphan Daeng, Major Rangsit, Khlong Nueng, and Khlong Song. Their presence was warmly received, with residents enthusiastically waving and shouting "Number 42" as they passed by.
