Abu dhabi: The UAE has denied reports of a visit by Netanyahu. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Foreign Ministry issued a statement denying reports from the Israeli Prime Minister's office that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had secretly visited the country and met with UAE leaders.
According to Thai News Agency, the UAE Foreign Ministry emphasized that the relationship between the UAE and Israel is transparent and not based on any opaque or unconfirmed agreements. It also stated that any claims regarding undisclosed visits or agreements are baseless unless officially announced by the relevant UAE authority.
Previously, the Israeli Prime Minister's office claimed that Netanyahu had visited the United Arab Emirates during the war with Iran to meet with UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, describing the meeting as a "historic turning point" in relations between the two countries. Sources revealed that the two sides met for several hours in Al Ain, an oasis on the Omani border, on March 26.
Iran, which retaliated against the attacks from the United States and Israel, has responded to the incident. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi posted a message on the social media platform X, stating that collusion with Israel is unforgivable and emphasizing that those who collaborated with Israel in creating division must be held accountable for their actions.
