Pattaya: A video clip showing a fight involving a couple and a group of female dancers has gone viral on social media, drawing widespread criticism. The altercation occurred when a woman attempted to retrieve her husband, who was drinking with the dancers, but he refused to leave. The situation escalated when the woman threw a glass, leading to a chaotic scuffle.

According to Thai News Agency, the incident involved a group of four dancers, including Ms. Fern (assumed name), who were hired to perform at a company party in Pattaya, Chon Buri Province. After the party, the dancers were asked to drink with some of the attendees. The situation turned volatile when the wife of one attendee repeatedly tried to persuade her husband to leave, leading to tension between the parties.

The video clip shows the husband attempting to intervene as the situation deteriorated. Amidst the chaos, he ended up throwing punches, ostensibly to protect his wife, which further fueled criticism from viewers online. The wife, who posted an explanation on social media, detailed her attempts to contact her husband, expressing frustration over his delayed return. She admitted to throwing a plastic glass but insisted it did not hit anyone, attributing her actions to annoyance from being interrupted.

The wife explained that as tensions rose, she felt overwhelmed and threw the glass. She expressed shock at how quickly the incident was recorded and insisted there was no jealousy involved. She clarified that the dancers were hired for the event and emphasized that her boyfriend’s actions were in defense of her, as he perceived the dancers as ganging up on her.

In response to the incident, the couple plans to take legal action due to injuries sustained, including facial marks and bodily harm. The wife acknowledged her role in the altercation and expressed willingness to take responsibility if the dancers pursued legal action or sought damages.
