Young Man Assaulted After Complaining About Neighbor’s Music

Samut Prakan: A 21-year-old man was assaulted after expressing dissatisfaction with the music played by a neighboring drinking group. The incident escalated into a physical altercation, resulting in injuries on both sides.

According to Thai News Agency, the Samut Prakan City Police were called to the scene of the brawl at the embankment at the end of Soi Thesaban Bang Pu 68 in Samut Prakan Province. Upon arrival, they discovered Mr. Chinnawat, 21, in a drunken state, lying injured with a torn nose. Rescue workers were summoned to transport him to the hospital for treatment.

At the same location, Mr. Sai, 35, who was involved in the altercation with Mr. Chinnawat, was found with a swollen bruise above his right eyebrow and a scratch on his left palm. Though injured, Mr. Sai declined medical assistance. He was taken to the police station for questioning, where he explained that Mr. Chinnawat had confronted him over the music and initiated the physical confrontation by punching him in the face, despite them being strangers.

Ms. Kluay, 24, who is acquainted with Mr. Chinnawat, reported that he was displeased with the music being played and decided to confront the group, leading to a scuffle where he pushed one of them. After the initial separation, the other party allegedly summoned friends to retaliate against Mr. Chinnawat.
