Bang Rak District Office Alerts Residents About Upcoming Fireworks Display

Bangkok: The Bang Rak District Office has issued a warning to residents regarding a scheduled fireworks display set to occur on Friday night, July 3, 2026, over the Chao Phraya River in front of the Shangri-La Hotel. The display will take place between 8:50 PM and 8:51 PM, with proper permissions already secured for the event.

According to Thai News Agency, the fireworks display is anticipated to generate loud noise that could potentially affect vulnerable groups, including children and the elderly. The district office has expressed apologies for any inconvenience or noise disturbances that may arise during the scheduled time.

In an effort to mitigate the impact of the noise, the Bang Rak District Office has offered several suggestions for residents. Households with young children or elderly individuals are advised to close doors and windows tightly to minimize noise infiltration. Additionally, the use of noise reduction tools, such as earplugs or earmuffs, is recommended. Providing comfort and a sense of security by being present and engaging in conversation can also be beneficial.

For pet owners, it is suggested to place pets in a cage or enclosed room before the fireworks begin. Distracting pets with television, music, or their favorite snacks and toys can help alleviate stress. Furthermore, ensuring that pets wear collars with a name tag and contact number can be crucial in case of emergencies.

The Bang Rak District Office urges all residents to take necessary precautions and prepare for the event to ensure minimal disruption to their evening.
