Chueatatong Twins Shine in Singapore Windsurfing Championship

Bangkok: Rising twins from the Chueatatong family have performed brilliantly in the 'Singapore Open Windsurfing Wind and Wing Falling Championship 2025' in Singapore. Mr. Phatthana Boonsawat, Secretary-General of the Windsurfing Association of Thailand, revealed that after the Windsurfing Association sent young athletes to compete in the "Singapore Open Windsurfing Wind and Wing Falling Championship 2025" during February 13-16, 2025 in Singapore, it turned out that the "16-year-old twins of the Chueatatong family" performed excellently in the Techno 293 category for 17-year-old boys. "Palm" Supachai Chueatatong (younger twin) unfortunately missed out on the championship, losing 21 points, the same as Clian Cuerdo from the Philippines. However, in the final race, the athlete from the Philippines lost fewer points, causing "Supachai" to take second place, while "Park" Supachai Chueatatong (older twin) lost 23 points, taking third place.

According to Thai News Agency, "From the performance of Supachai and Supachok, overall, both of them did very well, exceeding the target set by the Windsurfing Association. Since both of them are rising stars, it's their first time competing in an international competition. It must be admitted that they are very determined. This competition will help them gain more strength and experience to prepare for future competitions. Thai sports fans are encouraged to support the Thai windsurfing team," said Mr. Phatthana Boonsawat.

In the next event, the Windsurfing Association will send senior athletes to compete in the IQ Foil Games in Spain from March 8-15, 2025, which will send 3 athletes to compete: General Male, Nitipat Chaiwutthiwet / General Female, Athicha Homraruen and "Dao" Siriporn Kaewduangngam to compete for world ranking points to compete in the Windsurfing World Championship in Denmark from July 4-11, 2025.
