Bangkok: The Ministry of Finance has issued a reminder that today marks the final opportunity for individuals to submit requests for a review of their eligibility for the 2026 state welfare card. Applications can be submitted either at branches of five designated banks during regular business hours or online until 11:00 PM tonight.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Vinit Visetsuwannapoom, Director of the Fiscal Policy Office and spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance, provided an update on the 2026 State Welfare Registration Project. As of August 31, 2026, at 5:00 AM, a total of 3,139,886 individuals had passed the eligibility verification process, requiring further identity confirmation. Out of these, 2,553,825 individuals have successfully confirmed their identities, accounting for 81.3%. Meanwhile, 4,903,354 out of 9,314,253 individuals who did not pass the eligibility verification have submitted appeals for reconsideration.
Today, August 31st, is the deadline for submitting requests for reconsideration of eligibility. Those who did not pass the initial verification but suspect inaccuracies can preserve their rights by requesting a review through designated channels.
Requests for rights review can be submitted online until 11:00 PM today via the State Welfare Registration Project website, the Paotang application, and other government applications. For in-person submissions, requests can be made at branches of five banks, including Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited, Government Savings Bank, Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, Government Housing Bank, and Islamic Bank of Thailand, during their business hours.
Individuals who have already submitted requests for eligibility review can update their information by contacting the relevant agency or the One Stop Service center at the district level by September 20, 2026.
