Bangkok: The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) is advancing the use of AI technology in logistics to enhance connectivity among manufacturers, exporters, buyers, and logistics service providers.
According to Thai News Agency, the DITP, under the Ministry of Commerce, is collaborating with RX BITEC (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to organize 'TILOG - LogistiX 2026.' This comprehensive trade show will highlight logistics technology and services from August 19-21, 2026, at the BITEC Bangna Exhibition and Convention Center, Hall 98. The event is expected to attract over 7,100 businesses, entrepreneurs, and buyers from Thailand and internationally, generating over 2 billion baht in trade value through business matching activities.
The event focuses on addressing the evolving global trade landscape by integrating AI, automation, and intelligent logistics solutions to improve supply chain management. It will feature technologies, products, and solutions from over 485 brands across 25 countries, encompassing areas such as warehouse management, packaging, handling and movement of goods, transportation systems, IT logistics, and modern supply chain technologies. This platform provides Thai businesses the chance to explore the latest technologies, engage in knowledge exchange, and forge connections with international business partners.
An Innovation Showcase was part of the event, featuring Thai-made smart drones designed for Warehouse Management 4.0. These drones enhance inventory counting efficiency, reduce work time, and improve safety. The showcase also demonstrated the application of AI and digital technologies in optimizing supply chain management, showcasing the potential of Thai innovation in meeting modern business requirements.
