The meeting was convened by the Minister of Interior (M.4) to address the grievances of the affected candidates and to expedite a fair resolution for all parties involved.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Worasit Liengprasit, Deputy Minister of Interior, disclosed that the online meeting provided a platform for the candidates to share their initial concerns. Approximately 270 candidates reported being impacted by potential errors in the exam's code marking or the scanning machine's code reading, leading to their zero scores. The candidates are demanding a thorough investigation into the examination process to restore trust and transparency in the competitive exam system.
The primary objective of the meeting was to collect detailed information from the candidates to facilitate coordination with relevant committees and agencies. This coordination aims to develop solutions, including potential compensation for affected individuals, while ensuring fairness and transparency throughout the process. The Ministry is committed to resolving the issue swiftly and justly.
Additionally, an investigation into alleged corruption in the recruitment and appointment of local government officials is underway. Should the investigation reveal any corrupt practices, decisive actions will be taken against those involved.
