Digital Television Network Service Providers Plan for License Expiration

Jakarta:A meeting was held by the "Digital Television Network Service Providers Club" with the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) to discuss preparations for managing their networks before the expiration of their licenses in 2029. The meeting aimed to develop a plan to ensure efficient business operations.

According to Thai News Agency, Representatives from MCOT Public Company Limited, Royal Thai Army Television Channel 5, the Public Relations Department, and ThaiPBS, all part of the Digital Television Network Service Providers Club, participated in the discussions. Prof. Dr. Pirongrong Ramsut, a member of the NBTC, and other executives were present to contribute to the planning process.

Key attendees included Mr. Jetsada Pongthanathanawat, Acting President and CEO of MCOT, and Mr. Adisak Limprungpatanakit, Deputy Director of ThaiPBS, who contributed to the strategic discussions on how to effectively manage the transition before the licenses expire.
