Doi Suthep-Pui National Park Campsites Reopen After Rain Delay


Jakarta:Doi Suthep-Pui National Park The park has reopened its campsites to tourists after a delay caused by continuous rainfall. Originally slated to open on October 1st, the campsites remained closed until October 9th due to adverse weather conditions.



According to Thai News Agency, all four campsites are now operational, including Doi Pui campsite, Monthatan Waterfall campsite, the tourist guesthouse (Suan Son) campsite, and Mok Fa Waterfall campsite. Park staff have conducted extensive cleaning efforts to prepare the facilities for visitors.



Mr. Thongchai Nararat, head of Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, announced that the park is fully prepared to welcome tourists and offers tents for rent at 220 baht per night. Additionally, there is a designated area for visitors to pitch their own tents for a fee of 30 baht per night. He expects a significant influx of tourists this year, attributed to the growing trend of nature tourism. The park is currently not at full capacity, and visitors are encouraged to make reservations in advance through the park’s website.
