This follows the Japanese prosecutor's decision not to indict her in the case where she was arrested with methamphetamine hidden in coffee sachets she was carrying.
Mr. Thanasak was not available for an interview with the media, only stating briefly that he wanted to wait to see Nong Thien first, as he had not yet spoken to or been able to contact her. He added that the police had contacted the family to wait at the Narcotics Suppression Bureau headquarters, where Nong Thien would be picked up for questioning. He explained that waiting at Suvarnabhumi Airport would mean not being able to see her, as she would be taken through a special exit and brought here immediately. Therefore, everyone is waiting here. After questioning, she will be released to go home.

Achayon Kraithong, Commander of the Narcotics Suppression Police, who provided preliminary information that today, investigators will question her as a witness because they have never met before. It has been confirmed that arrest warrants have been issued for two suspects involved in the drug trafficking operation. These suspects were part of a network that smuggled methamphetamine hidden in packages to Nong Thien, who then hired her to transport it to Japan.
