Bangkok: A fire broke out in a condominium at Nakniwas 42-44. One person was found trapped inside, and rescue efforts are underway.
According to Thai News Agency, at 9:24 AM on July 6, 2026, the Fire and Rescue Thailand Facebook page reported that the 199 emergency hotline received a report of a fire inside a condominium located in Soi Nak Niwas 42-44, Nak Niwas Road, Lat Phrao Subdistrict, Lat Phrao District. Lat Phrao Fire and Rescue Station personnel were immediately dispatched to the scene. At 9:35 AM, Lat Phrao Fire and Rescue Station officers arrived and found that the fire was burning and smoke was emanating from the 5th floor of an 8-story building.
Initial reports confirm that one person is trapped inside the building. Firefighters and rescue personnel are currently working to control the fire and urgently rescue those trapped inside.
