He explained that after the incident on August 2, 2026, in Tak Bai District, a forensic examination and evidence collection were conducted, which unveiled connections to related networks. This led to a continuous pursuit and legal enforcement by authorities, culminating in a joint operation involving security agencies in Tambon Kia, Sukhirin District on August 5, 2026.
During the operation, the insurgent group initiated gunfire against the officers, prompting a retaliatory action that resulted in the deaths of two individuals involved in the violence. A comprehensive investigation and identification process is currently underway to ensure accuracy and detailed examination of the situation.
