According to Thai News Agency, JAS, the official broadcaster of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Thailand, joined forces with local authorities to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the venue and security measures. The event, titled "FIFA WORLD CUP 2026 ONE NIGHT ONE CHAMPION," is set to take place on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Wachirabenjathat Park, commonly known as Railway Park. The gates will open to the public at 11:30 PM for Thai football enthusiasts eager to watch and support the World Cup final.
Key figures involved in the inspection included Pol. Col. Sanong Saengmanee, Superintendent of Bang Sue Metropolitan Police Station; Pol. Lt. Col. Manoon Kuemueang, Deputy Superintendent; Ms. Benjawan Fakrajang, Head of Green Space Management Division 1 at Bangkok Metropolitan Administration's Environment Department; and Ms. Nawarat Poolmak, Deputy Director of Sustainability at JAS. These representatives examined various aspects of the event preparation to ensure a seamless experience for attendees.
