Bangkok: Singer, actor, and father Lift Supoj recently shared insights into his personal and professional life, including his recent cosmetic surgery and views on parenting Gen Z children. Lift expressed satisfaction with his first eyelid surgery, noting improvements in his appearance and hinting at the possibility of undergoing hair transplantation in the near future.
According to Thai News Agency, Lift Suphot underwent the eyelid procedure following a consultation that stemmed from his wife’s interest in the same surgery. The doctor suggested the procedure to prevent potential drooping of the eyelids and eyebrows. Lift, who had initially not seen the urgency for the surgery, embraced it and continued performing, even appearing in a concert in Loei province shortly after. While pleased with the outcome, he initially worried about the healing process and potential reversion to his original appearance. He revealed that his doctor has recommended hair transplantation, a procedure he is considering due to advan
cements that eliminate the need for shaving the head.
Lift also discussed his return to work with Channel 7 on the drama “Lang Prisana” after a decade-long hiatus. He observed changes in the working environment, noting that social media and script reading have replaced the group discussions and rehearsals of the past. Despite these changes, he believes that the quality of work remains high, with newer actors displaying confidence and courage. He noted that social media, while changing dynamics, contributes to convenience in the industry.
On the subject of parenting, Lift spoke candidly about navigating the challenges of raising a Gen Z child. He mentioned that traditional parenting methods are often ineffective, as children today are informed and educated through social media. Lift recounted experiences with his 16-year-old daughter, Praw, who often expresses her knowledge on topics he tries to discuss. He humorously described teasing her about her concert attire, only to find it modest compared to others.
Lift emphasized the importance of adapting to the times and accepting the evolving nature of parenting in a digital age.
