Buenos aires: Lionel Messi, the captain and forward of the Argentinian national team, has appeared in a promotional video for the upcoming film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day."
According to Thai News Agency, in the advertisement, Messi is shown walking into a coffee shop where Tom Holland, the film's star, plays Peter Parker. Upon seeing Messi walk in, Holland, playing Parker, reacts with surprise and goes to greet him. Messi then explains that he has joined the city-wide hunt for Spider-Man using a tracking device on his phone.
Parker then disappears behind the store, and Spider-Man appears in his place. The two then swing through the city on webs, exploring, before the film concludes with a message stating that it will be released in the United States on July 31st.
