Chiang mai: The heartwarming reunion of a mother elephant and her blind baby calf has finally taken place after six years of separation. This joyful event was made possible by the efforts of Phra Khru Odd, a compassionate monk from Wat Chedi Luang, who played a crucial role in bringing the two elephants back together.According to Thai News Agency, the blind baby elephant was initially rescued by Phra Khru Odd, who took it under his care and ensured its safety. The baby elephant, however, had to endure years without the companionship of its mother. Thanks to the monk's dedication, the mother elephant was recently redeemed and reunited with her calf, thus concluding their long and painful separation.
