Chaiyaphum:Samrit Tansap, an MP for Chaiyaphum and member of the Bhumjaithai Party, has addressed concerns regarding his daughter, Ms. Suchada Sang Tansap, who is also an MP for Chaiyaphum, amid an investigation into her husband's occupation and assets linked to scammers.
According to Thai News Agency, Samrit has expressed confidence in his daughter's ability to handle the situation, emphasizing the importance of explaining the matter to the public. He noted that criticism must be addressed, and there is a responsibility to provide clear explanations. Samrit mentioned that he has not personally communicated with his son-in-law due to a language barrier, but he trusts that the necessary information will be conveyed through his daughter.
Samrit stated that the investigation should be conducted by appropriate government agencies, which can provide the most accurate account of the situation. He affirmed that his daughter, Ms. Suchada, is well-prepared to present evidence and clarify any allegations to the public, as she has maintained her innocence.
In response to rumors about internal party sabotage preventing him from becoming a minister, Samrit dismissed these claims as unfounded. He refrained from speculating further, to avoid escalating the issue. He also clarified that no inquiries have been made by the party regarding this matter.
