Pickup Truck Loses Control and Crashes into Barrier in Rayong Province

Rayong: A speeding pickup truck lost control and crashed into a road barrier in front of Khao Pho Temple, Ban Khai District, Rayong Province. Good citizens attempted to assist, but the driver drove away despite having a flat tire.

According to Thai News Agency, the incident occurred at 01:56 a.m. when the pickup truck sped up and mounted a concrete barrier in the middle of the road. The crash produced dust and a loud sound, startling the area residents. The vehicle eventually stopped in front of King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok.

The loud noise prompted local villagers to investigate and offer help. However, the driver did not respond to their calls. Instead, he inspected his vehicle and, despite noticing the flat tire, decided to drive away. Villagers noted that accidents frequently occur in this area and expressed a desire for authorities to install warning lights or visible symbols to prevent future incidents.
