Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul Avoids Media Interview with Gesture

Sanaa:Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul arrived at Government House, waving to the media before making a zipping-mouth gesture when reporters requested an interview.

According to Thai News Agency, Anutin returned from the 24th Forbes Global CEO Conference in Singapore, which took place from October 7-8, 2026. Upon his arrival at 135 PM, he rolled down his window to acknowledge the journalists waiting outside the press room.

Later, Anutin welcomed a minister from the United Arab Emirates for discussions at Government House, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, Ms. Supajee Suthamphan, and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Mr. Poonpong Naiyanapakorn. After the meeting, when reporters attempted to interview him, Anutin made a gesture indicating his mouth was zipped shut and then returned inside Government House.
