Nan: The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) is actively supporting the Ministry of Interior's urgent mission to assist villagers in the Pha Wiang district of Nan province. The mission involves sending relief supplies, deploying generators, and expediting the restoration of the local power system.According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Mongkol Treekitjanon, the Governor of PEA, has delegated Mr. Wiwat Rittiwong, Assistant Governor of PEA, to aid Mr. Jetseth Thaiseth, the Deputy Minister of Interior, in his visit to Ban Pha Wiang, located in the Phuka Subdistrict, Pua District, Nan Province. The purpose of the visit is to monitor the situation and provide necessary assistance to residents impacted by recent floods and landslides that have disrupted transportation and damaged the power infrastructure in the area.The PEA is expediting its support to the residents of Ban Pha Wiang by airlifting relief supplies using a helicopter from the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM). Simultaneously, P EA inspection vehicles are navigating damaged routes to transport generators, offering temporary electricity to the affected residents. Efforts are underway to restore the power distribution system to ensure that power is safely and swiftly returned to the community.
