SET Announces New Securities for FTSE SET Index Series

Bangkok: The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has revealed the outcomes of its review concerning the FTSE SET Index Series. These updates are set to take effect starting June 22. The review process, which is conducted bi-annually, determines the securities that will be utilized for calculating the index series.

According to Thai News Agency, the latest review introduces several new additions across different indices. The FTSE SET Large-Cap Index will now include the Digital Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund (DIF) as a new security. Meanwhile, the FTSE SET Mid-Cap Index will see the inclusion of Frasers Property REIT (FTREIT) and Mr. D.I.Y. Holdings (Thailand) (MRDIYT).

Furthermore, the FTSE SET Shariah Index has expanded to feature 11 new listed companies. These include ETC, FORTH, Frasers Property REIT (FTREIT), IMPACT Growth (IMPACT), IRPC (IRPC), The Klinique (KLINIQ), Mr. D.I.Y. Holdings, Rompho Property (TITLE), Sky ICT (SKY), Thai Union Feedmill (TFM), and Thonburi Healthcare Group (THG).

The selection criteria for these securities are predetermined and the review process is scheduled to occur twice a year. The next review is planned for December 2026, ensuring that the indices remain representative of the market dynamics and investment opportunities.
