Singer “Din” from Band Tosakan Dies Following Brewery Fire Tragedy

Bangkok: The body of "Din," a singer from the band Tosakan who tragically died following a brewery fire in Lat Phrao, has been brought to Wat Sawang Phop temple. His family, along with rescue workers, gathered to hold a funeral ceremony marked by profound sadness.

According to Thai News Agency, Mrs. Panya, the 67-year-old grandmother of Din, was present to receive her grandson's body. She shared that she had raised Din since infancy. Upon hearing the tragic news, she traveled from Sakon Nakhon province for a final visit. During this visit, she whispered in his ear, asking for forgiveness and urging him to rest in peace, assuring him not to worry about his family. Sadly, Din passed away shortly after this emotional farewell.

Ms. Chansuda, Din's mother, recounted a premonition she experienced on the night of the fire. While sleeping, she felt a sensation similar to when Din, as a child, would lie on her chest. Unable to sleep, she checked her phone and discovered the news of the brewery fire in Ladprao. She has since received no communication or assistance from the shop regarding funeral or hospital expenses, except for a phone call from a Ministry of Justice official requesting documents related to Din's death. She is urgently seeking help from relevant agencies, emphasizing the financial struggles faced by her family, who rely on hard work to make ends meet.

In tears, Din's mother described visiting her son at Rajavithi Hospital, where doctors allowed her to speak to him in the ICU. Despite protective gear and the doctors' encouragement, Din's condition was dire, with burns covering 80% of his body. She whispered words of encouragement, hoping to give him strength. However, doctors conveyed the severity of his internal injuries, severe infection, and low heart rate, painting a grim picture of his chances of recovery.
