Sisaket: The Football Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage has officially announced that Sisaket will host the 52nd King's Cup football tournament. The matches will be held at the Koh Klang Nam Stadium, a 12,000-seat facility owned by the Sports Authority of Thailand, during the FIFA International Match Day period from November 9-17, 2026.
According to Thai News Agency, this year's competition features four nations: Thailand, Oman, Bahrain, and Tajikistan. The tournament will be a four-team knockout format, with all matches being International 'A' Matches whose results contribute to the FIFA ranking points.
This marks the first time Sisaket province has been granted the right to host the King's Cup, after previously hosting an international friendly match in 2022 where the Thai national team defeated Turkmenistan 1-0. This hosting aligns with the Football Association of Thailand's policy of distributing national football to the regions and upgrading stadiums and facilities to international standards in the future.
