Bangkok: Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office and Chairperson of the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund, revealed a comprehensive plan for the Media Fund, focusing on five key objectives aimed at enhancing support for media professionals. By recommending more flexible funding criteria, the initiative seeks to provide easier access to funding, nurture quality creators, and establish safe learning environments for all ages.

According to Thai News Agency, Minister Supamas presided over a workshop dedicated to developing the operational plan, financial plan, and budget for the fiscal year 2027. She provided policy guidance, emphasizing five primary goals: transforming the Fund's role from merely a funder to a collaborative partner with more adaptable support models; integrating efforts with relevant agencies like the Public Relations Department and MCOT Public Company Limited to promote Local Content Creators and Local Heroes in every province; establishing joint best practices while bolstering Thai digital platforms; creating secure learning spaces through online literacy activities for individuals of all ages; and advocating for the revision of laws and regulations that obstruct the advancement of creative works and intellectual property.

This strategic framework is designed to foster an environment where media professionals can thrive, ensuring the production of high-quality content and the promotion of intellectual growth across the nation.
