The team's primary goal is to secure at least one gold medal, using this tournament as a pivotal preparation phase ahead of the 2026 Asian Para Games in Nagoya, Japan.
According to Thai News Agency, the team features top-ranked players in multiple categories, with "James" Worawut Saeng-ampa, ranked 5th globally in the BC2 class, and "Pele" Pornchok Lapayen in the BC4 class, both poised for individual success. In the team events, "Boy" Wisanu Huadpradit, "Kiew" Pakpoom Linchum, and "Fon" Sattanun Promsiri form the backbone of the squad.
This championship offers a critical opportunity for Thai athletes to evaluate their performance against world-class opponents, including teams from Brazil, Portugal, and England. It will test their tactics, precision, and ability to withstand pressure in international competitions.
