Bangkok: Cugurella has finished getting a tattoo of De La Fuente's face. Previously, Spanish national team defender Marc Cucurella announced that if "La Roja" defeated Argentina and won the 2026 World Cup, he would get a tattoo of Luis de la Fuente's face.
According to Thai News Agency, Spain defeated Argentina 1-0, successfully winning their second World Cup title. This victory led Cucurella to fulfill his promise and get the tattoo of the national team's coach.
It remains to be seen whether Cucurella will retire from the Spanish national team, after he previously told De la Fuente not to call him again if Spain won the 2026 World Cup. Winning both Euro 2024 and the World Cup is considered the greatest achievement in his national team career.
