Government Launches “Thai Helps Thai Plus 60/40” Scheme on Delivery Platforms

Bangkok: The government invites citizens to utilize the "Thai Helps Thai Plus 60/40" scheme through four delivery platforms, starting June 15th. The initiative, spearheaded by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, aims to alleviate living costs while boosting the grassroots economy and increasing income for restaurants, small businesses, and service businesses nationwide.

According to Thai News Agency, the project expands eligibility for benefits to include food delivery services via ShopeeFood, LINE MAN, GrabFood, and Robinhood, providing easier access to government benefits and market opportunities for restaurant businesses. Starting June 15 and running until September 30, 2026, citizens can use their "Thai Chuay Thai Plus 60/40" benefits daily between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM through the "Paotang" application.

The Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, Ms. Lalida Periswiwatana, highlighted that the scheme addresses the needs of the modern urban lifestyle, especially aiding the elderly and those unable to travel for purchases. The initiative facilitates government assistance access and expands market reach for small restaurants through online channels.

ShopeeFood users will enjoy up to 60% discounts on orders from participating restaurants and free delivery with no minimum order. LINE MAN offers additional privileges, including a code for cumulative discounts up to 5,000 baht and free delivery within 5 kilometers. GrabFood provides discounts up to 100 baht per order and cashback opportunities, while Robinhood offers a 50% discount on food items and delivery benefits.

The Deputy Spokesperson emphasized that this collaboration with delivery platforms marks a significant step in leveraging digital technology for economic stimulus. It expands sales channels for small restaurants, generates income within the economic system, and promotes community-level employment.

The "Thai Helps Thai Plus 60/40" project is designed to reduce living costs while generating income for small business owners, utilizing technology and digital platforms to drive the economy. This strategy aims to achieve sustainable economic recovery and improve the quality of life for citizens.
