Government Launches “Thai Helps Thai Plus 60/40” Scheme Through Major Delivery Platforms

Bangkok: The government is urging citizens to take advantage of the "Thai Helps Thai Plus 60/40" scheme through four delivery platforms starting June 15th. This initiative aims to provide discounts on food and delivery fees, supporting citizens in saving money while boosting the restaurant industry nationwide.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Lalida Periswiwatana, Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, announced that the government, led by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, is advancing the "Thai Helps Thai Plus 60/40" project. This initiative is designed to reduce living expenses for the public, stimulate the grassroots economy, and increase income for restaurants, small business owners, and service businesses across the country. The project now includes four major food delivery platforms: ShopeeFood, LINE MAN, GrabFood, and Robinhood, enhancing access to government benefits and expanding market opportunities for the restaurant sector nationwide.

The Deputy Spokesperson noted that under this economic stimulus policy, citizens can utilize their "Thai Chuay Thai Plus 60/40" benefits on food delivery services from June 15 to September 30, 2026, between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM daily, using the "Paotang" application. Participants can choose from platforms like ShopeeFood, LINE MAN, GrabFood, and Robinhood. This initiative is expected to increase access to benefits, lower living costs, and ensure that government funds circulate more rapidly and extensively to restaurants and small businesses nationwide.

By expanding benefits to include delivery services, the scheme addresses the lifestyle needs of modern citizens, particularly those in urban areas, the elderly, caregivers, and individuals who face challenges in traveling for shopping. It simplifies access to government assistance measures and creates opportunities for small restaurants across the country to connect with more customers through online channels.
