Ministry of Digital Economy and Society Launches ‘Centralized Dashboard’ for Data Center Reorganization

Bangkok: The Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DE) is advancing its data center reorganization efforts with the introduction of a 'Centralized Dashboard' aimed at integrating data from all ministries for real-time monitoring.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chaiyachanok Chidchob, the Minister of Digital Economy and Society, disclosed that the recent meeting concentrated on reorganizing governmental operations to ensure better coordination. Previously, data and workflows were dispersed across various ministries. Significant collaboration was reported from several entities, including the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Interior, and other pertinent organizations, in supplying essential data.

Mr. Chaiyanok explained that the gathered data has been utilized to develop a centralized, live dashboard, which consolidates vital information from multiple dimensions into a single platform. This comprehensive collection includes data on all data center projects, power network information, urban planning details, as well as relevant regulations, rules, and laws.

The minister highlighted that by centralizing data into one dashboard, all agencies will be granted access to the information, enabling them to understand the overall landscape and monitor the status of data centers in real-time. This encompasses projects in various stages, from those about to be initiated, to those under construction, and those already operational. The dashboard is expected to serve as a fundamental database for more efficient governmental coordination in the future.
