Pak kret: A parking service owner has raised allegations of extortion after an altercation with a customer led to demands for a substantial compensation sum. The incident, involving a dispute over parking times and subsequent physical confrontation, has prompted the owner to seek justice through media platforms.
According to Thai News Agency, the altercation was brought to light via the Facebook page "Want to be famous? I'll arrange it - Return Part 7," which shared CCTV footage and details about the incident. The footage captures the events of May 2nd, when a customer, Mr. Pichayut, and his friends attempted to retrieve their car after the parking lot's closing time, leading to a heated argument with the girlfriend of Mr. A, the parking lot owner.
The owner, Mr. A, reportedly confronted Mr. Pichayut, who was allegedly intoxicated and became aggressive. The argument escalated when Mr. A, after warning Mr. Pichayut about trespassing, used a nearby exercise bar in self-defense during the confrontation. The situation was eventually defused by Mr. Pichayut's friends, who helped remove him from the premises.
In an interview at the parking lot opposite Wat Salak Nuea, Mr. A recounted the events, highlighting the intoxication of Mr. Pichayut and the dispute over the parking time. Mr. A expressed his concerns about the subsequent actions of Mr. Pichayut and the medical certificates that were presented as evidence in the ongoing legal proceedings. These documents, indicating recommendations for extended recovery periods, have resulted in Mr. A facing charges of causing serious bodily harm.
Mr. A has maintained that his actions were in self-defense against an aggressive and intoxicated individual. He continues to seek justice, expressing worries about the potential extortion attempt and the legal implications of the incident. The case remains under court consideration, as Mr. A hopes for a fair resolution to what he describes as a defensive response to an unprovoked attack.
