PTT’s CFO Announces Bid for Key Role in Accounting Profession Council

Bangkok: PTT's Chief Financial Officer has officially announced her candidacy for the upcoming 2026 elections of the Accounting Profession Council, focusing on modernizing the field through technological advancements.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Patralada Sangasaeng, CFO of PTT Public Company Limited, is set to run for Chairperson of the Accounting Profession Committee in the 2026 Board of Directors elections under the Royal Patronage. Scheduled for August 15th, her campaign, under 'Team Number 1,' emphasizes the integration of AI technology in accounting to enhance accuracy and reduce overtime. She also plans to introduce e-Learning and AI Hubs to upgrade accounting firms across the nation.

Ms. Patralada highlighted her extensive experience in accounting and tax systems across various organizational sizes, which provides her with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by accountants. She regards accountants as essential to the profession and crucial to the development of a transparent and efficient accounting industry in Thailand. Her past contributions to the Federation of Accounting Professions include serving on the Public Relations Committee and leading the TFAC Annual Summit organizing committee for two consecutive years. These summits were well-received, drawing thousands of participants both domestically and internationally.
