Hanoi: The Prime Minister attended the wreath-laying ceremony at the Monument to the Heroes and Martyrs of Bac Son.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, participated in the event at the Bac Son Heroes and Martyrs Monument. This monument commemorates the revolutionaries who gave their lives in 1940, marking a significant point in the Vietnamese movement led by Ho Chi Minh. It is situated on Bac Son Street, near Ba Dinh Square, and features statues of revolutionary warriors that symbolize the bravery and unity of Vietnamese independence fighters.
Following the ceremony, the Prime Minister visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Ba Dinh Square, where Ho Chi Minh read Vietnam's Declaration of Independence in 1945. The mausoleum, constructed with high-quality marble and granite, marries socialist art with Vietnamese identity. Ho Chi Minh, revered as the 'Father of the Nation,' played a pivotal role in declaring independence and establishing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
