Bangkok: Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Industry, addressed the rumors regarding the transfer of Mr. Nattapol Rangsitpol, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, to the position of Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, stating that the matter had been discussed in advance and acknowledging that Mr. Ekanat Promphan, Minister of Energy, was interested and had approached him.
According to Thai News Agency, since Mr. Nattapol has served as Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry for four years and is a highly knowledgeable and capable individual, and given that the Ministry of Energy was previously under the Ministry of Industry, it is believed that they will be able to work together effectively.
Regarding the appointment of the new Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Mr. Varawut confirmed that the person who has been initially discussed and considered is an "insider" within the Ministry of Industry.
Furthermore, we need to review the documents again to determine whether the list of appointments for both senior executive positions can be submitted to the Cabinet for consideration and approval today.
