Phitsanulok: Hard work pays off. 15-year-old "Nong Bai Toey" sells a buffet-style omelet rice dish from the back of her motorcycle along the Nan River in Phitsanulok province to earn extra income after school.
According to Thai News Agency, on Phutthabucha Road, in front of the Phitsanulok Post Office, people exercising along the Nan River waited to buy an all-you-can-eat omelet buffet from a motorcycle with a sidecar. The owner of the stall is Miss Thitaree, or "Bai Toey," Saengritman, a 15-year-old 3rd-year secondary school student from Phutthachinnarat School.
Nong Bai Toey said that she sells omelets because she wants to earn extra income and use her free time productively. She opens a stall selling omelets with rice to people exercising along the Nan River. After school, starting at 4 pm, she rides her motorcycle to the opposite side of the Phitsanulok Post Office, sets up her cooking table and gas stove at the back of her motorcycle, and is ready to sell immediately.
This restaurant serves omelets with a buffet of unlimited toppings such as sausage, ham, carrots, basil, mushrooms, spring onions, pumpkin, tomatoes, and pork sausage. Customers can fill their shot glasses with their chosen ingredients. The price, including hot rice, is 25 baht for one egg, 35 baht for two eggs, and 45 baht for three eggs. Fresh vegetables and chili paste are also provided free of charge.
