Bangkok: The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has announced the successful completion of the second phase of Government Savings Plus bonds, with total subscriptions reaching 6.56 billion baht. A total of 13,705 investors participated, engaging in 17,204 transactions to achieve this substantial figure.
According to Thai News Agency, the Ministry of Finance made 2 billion baht worth of Government Savings Plus Bonds available for public subscription through the Bond Connect platform and the Streaming application during the period from September 7 to September 9, 2026. The bonds were distributed through 24 distributors, comprising six commercial banks and 18 securities companies. The allocation employed the Small Lot First method to ensure fair distribution among retail investors.
Investors showed significant interest, with 13,705 individuals subscribing and a total subscription value amounting to 6,565,818,000 baht. The 3-year maturity loans, with a fixed interest rate of 1.8% per annum, were allocated to 5,75
4 investors, totaling 675,589,000 baht. Meanwhile, the 10-year maturity loans, with a fixed interest rate of 2.8% per annum, were allocated to 9,153 investors, totaling 1,324,411,000 baht.
Subscribers can verify their official allocation and the bond series they have been granted via the website www.settrade.com/bondallocation, as well as through the channels of their respective banks and the 24 distributing securities companies. For those subscribers who were not fully allocated, the system will return the remaining bonds to their deposit accounts or securities trading accounts today, September 10, 2026.
