Nun Aeh and Actress Aeh’s Homes Raided by Crime Suppression Division

Pathum thani: The Crime Suppression Division conducted simultaneous raids on the residences of nun Aeh and actress Aeh, resulting in the seizure of substantial assets. The operation was spearheaded by Pol. Lt. Col. Rueangwit Duangjinda, Head of Division 1, Crime Suppression Division, targeting properties in Khlong Si Subdistrict, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province.

According to Thai News Agency, the raid on the home of Ms. Punyavee, also known as "Sika Ae," uncovered significant evidence linked to her alleged involvement in a corruption case. Ms. Punyavee, age 47, was seen in a video with the former abbot of Wat Phutthaisawan Royal Temple and is currently facing charges under an arrest warrant issued by the Criminal Court for Corruption and Misconduct, Region 1. The charges include aiding a public official in embezzlement and misconduct, as well as money laundering.

During the search of Ms. Punyavee's residence, authorities confiscated 35 gold amulets, gold bars, and jewelry with a total weight of 90 baht, valued at 6,037,470 baht. Additionally, 3,592,300 baht in cash was seized, along with electronic devices including 3 mobile phones and 1 iPad. Officials also collected 10 land and bank account documents, 2 land title deeds, 7 bank passbooks, 1 land purchase agreement, 18 investment documents, 1 health insurance policy, 6 gold insurance certificates, 7 gold purchase and sale agreements, and 4 government savings bonds.

A separate search was conducted at another house in Moo 1, Khlong Si Subdistrict. However, no items requiring seizure were found during this operation. The investigation continues as authorities seek to unravel the full extent of the alleged financial misconduct and connections involved in this high-profile case.
