Ratchada Garage Fire Causes Significant Damage to Nearby Hotel and Condominium

Bangkok: An investigation into a fire at a car parts sorting shop in Soi Ratchadaphisek 36 has revealed extensive damage to nearby properties. Over 30 rooms in a hotel and condominium were affected by the blaze, which originated in a single-story steel-frame building with a metal-sheet roof. The facility housed a car repair and auto parts sorting operation.According to Thai News Agency, the fire completely destroyed cars that were being sorted before spreading to two adjacent buildings. A nearby hotel suffered total damage to one room on the second floor and partial damage to 11 other rooms. Additionally, a condominium in Ratchada 32 sustained partial damage to 25 units. The total area affected by the fire is estimated at approximately 350 square meters. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported.The cause of the fire remains undetermined, as the extensive damage has hindered efforts to identify the origin of the flames. A detailed investigation is required to ascertain the cause of the incident .
