Finale of ‘Colors of Thai’ Festival Offers Free Cultural Experience

Bangkok: Sabida invites you to the final day of the "Colorful Thai" event! Enjoy free admission throughout the event and experience the charm of Thai culture in all its dimensions. Explore all 5 cultural zones. Ms. Sabida Thaiseth, Minister of Culture, revealed that the Ministry of Culture invites the public, youth, tourists, and families to experience the beauty and diversity of Thai culture on the final day of the National Cultural Festival 'Colors of Thai', which is being held from September 2-6, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM at IMPACT Exhibition Hall 7-8, Muang Thong Thani, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province. Admission and participation in all activities are free throughout the event.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Sabida stated that the event, now in its second year, is held under the theme "Colors Creativity Thailand: Experience the Vibrant Colors, Create Thai Culture," aiming to showcase Thai culture as a "living culture" that people can experience, taste, see, learn, and create. It also provides a platform for artists, craftspeople, communities, entrepreneurs, and cultural networks from across the country to present their work, products, and services, thereby leveraging cultural capital to create jobs, generate income, and drive the creative economy in a tangible way.

The atmosphere at the event on September 4, 2026, remained vibrant, with a continuous stream of locals, youth, and tourists throughout the day. They were eager to experience diverse aspects of Thai culture through the five creative zones. The event offered visitors the opportunity to see, taste, try, learn, and purchase cultural products from artists, artisans, communities, and entrepreneurs across the country, reflecting the power of "living culture" that seamlessly connects cultural heritage with contemporary creativity and entertainment.

The Minister of Culture stated that the event is divided into five zones: the Zone of Inspiration's Colors, the Zone of Thai Flavors' Colors, the Zone of Thai Performing Arts' Colors, the Zone of Thai Wisdom and Handicrafts' Colors, and the Zone of Thai Heritage, Faith, and Traditions' Colors. Visitors can sample and purchase food from over 60 vendors, shop for Thai fabrics, handicrafts, and cultural products from over 100 vendors, and participate in free workshops on Thai food and desserts, weaving, textiles, Benjarong pottery, batik, and various art forms.

The final day's stage activities begin at 1:00 PM with a youth music performance by the NONAME BAND, followed by Zephyr at 1:45 PM. Enjoy contemporary music from the Thai Youth Jazz (TYJ) group, presented by the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture. At 3:00 PM, enjoy a concert by Ryal Kajbundit. At 4:45 PM, witness a folk music performance titled "Si San Thai" by the Central Thailand Folk Music Association and a Nora dance performance titled "Thasana Nat Khati" by the Southern Thailand Nora Dance Association. At 6:00 PM, see FINO THE RANAD. The event concludes with a concert by URBOYTJ from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
